Chateau larquey bordeaux superieur 2020
Aromas of red and black fruits, such as cherry, plum, and blackcurrant. Subtle notes of spice, such as cinnamon, and subtle hints of vanilla present.
Nose: Ripe black cherry, plum, cassis (blackcurrant), and blackberry. Prominent and inviting.
Palate: smooth, medium-bodied entry with good fruit concentration. Ripe, juicy and refreshing.
Finish: Medium finish, with lingering fruit and subtle spice.
Pairing
Grilled steak: Especially cuts like ribeye or filet mignon. The char from grilling adds another layer of flavor that pairs beautifully with the wine.
Lamb: Roasted lamb, especially with herbs like rosemary, is an excellent match.
Beef stews: Hearty stews like beef bourguignon are perfect for a cozy evening with an easy drinking Bordeaux.
History
Tomas Esteban cultivates seventy-five hectares of vines, divided into twenty different The first pages of contemporary history, marked by two world conflicts, were written by André BESOLI and his wife Adrienne (1901-1951), then Andréa BAUDET , their daughter gave the family estate a name: Château Larquey , name of an old building over 200 years old located on the estate.
Since the 1980s, Jacky and Nicole Baudet have seized the opportunities created by European integration and the beginnings of globalization to introduce their wine to new consumers. Their son, Jérôme , joined the estate in 1999. He has brought the vineyard work up to date with the aim of further expressing the terroir in the wines and producing environmentally friendly products.
Produced in the purest winemaking tradition, the red Bordeaux wines of CHÂTEAU LARQUEY are pampered by state-of-the-art cultivation and winemaking methods.
The careful selection of grape varieties, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, matches the specific characteristics of the soils and creates a tannic and fruity red wine.
