Q. How to place an order? |
|
A. Three convenient options for you when placing your order with Shoppers Vineyard:
- Shop our Retail Location in Clifton, NJ.
- Place your order by phone between the hours of 9:00am and 5:30pm EST: 973-916-0707 to speak to a customer service representative that can assist you.
- Shop online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine or liquor. By placing an order you are certifying that you are 21 years of age or older. All deliveries must be received by, and signed for, by an adult of legal drinking age. Shoppers Vineyard will not ship to PO Box addresses, or ship with instructions to "leave on porch" or any instructions which will not allow a signature to be obtained. Due to an adult signature being required, once a package leaves our warehouse we cannot alter the delivery address in any way. If an order is returned for failure to provide proper proof of age, the Buyer is responsible for payment of all shipping charges. For deliveries outside the state of New Jersey, the customer is solely responsible for any taxes or fees levied by any taxing authority in the state of delivery. When placing an order with Shoppers Vineyard, a user must provide certain financial information (credit card number, expiration date, billing address, and billing phone number). This information is used for billing purposes only. This information is taken in a secure area, is encrypted for our customers' protection, and is not sold or shared with anyone else under any circumstances.

Q. What are Payment Options? |

A. Shoppers Vineyard accepts all major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express. We accept PayPal. We also accept Government purchase orders. Due to the large volume of orders that we process each day, and the ever-growing threat of fraud and identity theft, we may ask that you verify your order with us over the phone. Information such as current billing address and home phone number is required in order to avoid any delays in processing your order. Please allow 24-72 Hours for Verification and Processing on all orders. Shopper's may need to allow 5-7 business days for funds to clear. Please take this into account when placing an order. If you requirements are more time- sensitive, we suggest expedited shipping.
- Money orders should be made out in US dollars
- Personal and Company checks are acceptable when issued by a US bank.
- Purchase Orders are accepted, subject to verification and approval by the Credit Department at (800) 992-2237.
- Wire transfers are also acceptable, subject to approval by the Credit Dept. Please call the above number for assistance.Please remember that your bank may charge you additional fees in order to complete this type of transaction. Shopper's assumes no responsibility for these fees. Every wire transfer send must include an order number and the name of your sales representative. This will help expedite the processing of your payment.

Q. Fraud Prevention/Verification? |

A. In an effort to prevent fraud or identity theft, all orders are subject to verification before being billed/shipped. This is to ensure that you are getting exactly what you ordered, and that the payment method you have selected is valid and secure. For your security, we may contact you via phone/email for additional information. If you have selected a different Bill To/Ship To address, we must verify the order for fraudulent activity. This is our security policy, and it is enforced for your protection and peace of mind.
Be sure to enter all of your information correctly and accurately as discrepancies can hold up the order verification process. If you have a different Bill To/Ship To, make sure that your banking institution knows about the Shipping address. This will not change your existing billing information, but it will help expedite the verification process. If you have placed your order via PayPal, please note that we ship to PayPal approved addresses only. |
Q. Order Confirmation? |

A. After placing your order, you will be directed to a confirmation page with all of your order information, as well as an order number. Please use this order number when contacting customer support. If you did not see an order confirmation page, there may have been a break in communication between your computer and our network. This does not mean that the order was not received. However, we recommend that you call customer support to verify that your order has been received. You will also receive order confirmation and shipment tracking information via email, so please be sure to turn off your spam filter and/or add the sending address 'shoppersvineyard.com' to your safe senders list. We will send you several updates on your order, so a valid email address is required. |
Q. Order Processing Time? |

A. For standard Ground shipments, orders received Monday through Friday before 12 noon (EST) are processed the same day that we receive them. Orders received after 12 noon are processed the next business day. If you request Express Shipping (Next Day, 2nd Day or 3rd Day), the cutoff time for same day processing is 3 p.m. (EST). Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be shipped on the first available business day. Your credit card will be billed when we confirm inventory is available for shipment. If there is an inventory issue with regards to your order we will notify you promptly via email.
In the event of inclement weather extremes (heat, cold, snow, hurricanes, etc.), we may hold your wine order for a period of time until ideal conditions for shipping arise. |
Q. Order Status and Tracking Information? |

A. You can check the status of your order on our website at anytime. You may also contact our Customer Support staff for order status information. You will receive an email with detailed tracking information once your order has shipped. Shoppers Vineyard is not responsible for any delays cause by affiliated shipping carriers. Please be aware that delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. All packages are inspected for damages before they ship from our warehouse. |
Q. Order Change / Cancellation? |

A. You may request a cancellation/change by phone only. If the order has not been processed for shipping, we will still be able to make those adjustments for you. Shoppers Vineyard will confirm in writing via email when a request of cancellation has been confirmed. Please note that until you have received this email your order has not yet been cancelled. Informing us of a change of cancellation by e-mail is NOT recommended. We may not get your email fast enough to cancel the order before it ships. Please contact customer support at 973-916-0707 extension 119 to request any changes or to cancel your order. Please remember that if an order has already been shipped, the shipping and handling is non-refundable. |

Q. Order Acceptance and Limitations? |

A. Shoppers Vineyard reserves the right to decline and cancel an order, or supply less than quantity ordered at any time. We also reserve the right to limit quantity per household or per order. We will notify you, of course, if we are not able to fulfill your order to your exact specifications. |
Q. Pricing? |

A. We endeavor to publish accurate selling prices for the products we offer. However on occasion we do make mistakes. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, Shoppers Vineyard shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. We will notify you in such a case. Shoppers Vineyard shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Shoppers Vineyard shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Prices are subject to change without notice. Please note that it may take 24 hours for shopping comparison and affiliate sites to update pricing on their end. Please note that due to the ever changing dynamic of the industry, we cannot offer price protection at this time. |
Q. Additional Costs? |

A. Total charges will include precisely what is indicated on our web site. It will comprise of the items ordered, plus shipping & handling based on your shipping location. Sales tax of 7% will be calculated on the total order of your merchandise when shipped within New Jersey. Applicable resale certificates and tax exempt forms should be faxed to our Credit Department at 973-778-9777. No sales tax will be applied to orders shipped out of New Jersey. |

A. At Shoppers Vineyard, we are constantly working to update product information on our website. Due to our ever expanding inventory, and certain manufacturer's restrictions, we are often unable to list all the merchandise and choices of different brands we have available. A. At Shoppers Vineyard we proudly guarantee the quality of all our products and services and customer satisfaction is our first priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your product, please contact us within 5 days of receipt of your order at info@shoppersvineyard.com. Cancelled and/or returned orders are subject to a 25% restocking and processing fee. We store our wines under climate controlled conditions, and make every effort to ensure that your order is in the finest condition. However, as is the tradition in the wine trade, all wine five years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk. Shopper's Vineyard will not be held responsible. |
