Golden amber color. Honeyed pumpernickel toast, reedy wood, caramel, and brown spice aromas. A soft entry leads to a round dryish medium-bodied palate with brown spice, toffee, herbal, and wet straw flavors. Finsihes with a long, toasty fade of honey and caramel.
Sauza Description
This Anejo (aged) tequila is considered the crowning achievement of the Sauza family distillery. Its delicate, natural, amber hue comes from more than three years aging in once-used bourbon barrels. The richness of 100% estate-grown blue agave is imparted with the subtle flavors of the hand-charred oak over its long resting period, giving it a smoky, smooth finish like no other.
