Plymouth Gin is copper-pot distilled from the finest grain spirit, and uses a perfectly balanced mixture of seven botanicals - juniper berry, coriander, lemon and sweet orange peels, angelica root, powdered orris root, and cardamom- to create an unparalleled light and delicate taste. As compared to other gins, Plymouth Gin owes its soft, smooth flavor to blending in a higher proportion of the sweeter tasting ''root botanicals'' like the orris and angelica roots mentioned above. This distinctive balance of botanicals is also unique in that there is no bitter aftertaste, an unfortunate characteristic common to London gins.
Light botanical and juniper nose. The palate offers quite a bit more. Full frontal juniper with complex fruit and spice flavors mingling toward the finish. Very versatile.
